As a Pronovias bride, I've got to side with the Pronovias....I notice your wedding date isn't until 2012 so you still have a TON of time to look and try things on. You don't want to buy too early and end up liking something else closer to the wedding and becoming a two dress bride (trust me...I was one). You could also look at preownedweddingdresses.com, classifieds, etc... to see if you can find the one you love but is slightly out of your budget for less.
Dress one - gorgeous but REALLY popular! By 2012 most people will have probably seen it
Dress two - not really 'my' style but it could totally be you! Hard to tell without you in it
Dress Three - I'm a pronovias bride and I LOVE their craftsmanship the best of the two designers. You can't really loose with pronovias.
BUT - you have until 2012! Don't buy a dress now! You'll totally end up with dress regret!
I love the dress with the flower at the shoulder. it is so pretty
i agree with the other gals, if you aren't getting married until 2012, take your time. You'll find the perfect dress... who knows? maybe the styles will change by then!
Take your time! I just bought mine for an October 2011 wedding and am now feeling stressed that I should have waited.
We're having a long engagement, we've been engaged 7 months already and I was just dying to try dresses on! I know I won't buy for atleast another year, but I had so much fun. These are the dresses I used to google and it was so great to try them on!
Thanks for your advice x

Ok, so my first experience dress shopping on Sat and I love the following three dresses.
Bit of background, I'm 5'7, size 6 (UK / Aus 10) with sallow/tanned skin and blonde hair.
1st is Maggie Sottero RD1044 - Looks beautiful on, but worried it might be too plain? I think FI is expecting somthing more 'Princessy'.
2nd Maggie Sottero Milana (Without Sleeves)- Because they put me in a size 6 and then strapped me in, I had to do shallow breaths and felt a bit faint but my waist looked tiny and I liked the bottom of it, kind of balanced out my hips. This is gold but I'd get ivory so the embezzellment would not be so obvious. This was in gold which does not suit my skin tone, would love to see it in Ivory?
3rd is Pronovias Williana (? I think ?) - Ok, imagine this with no sleeves. Again looks beautiful on, but the straps kinda dig into my shoulders and its double the price of the other two! I nearly welled up in it when they put the veil on, but can't justify spending this much. Has anyone seen anything similar for cheaper, I love the hearh shaped bodice with lace over the top. This was my two friends favourite.
