@MrsRuby: You're sweet. Thank you. :) I owe it all to our photographer! I hope someone who sees these pictures scoops him up for their event--he deserves it!
All of your photos are AMAZING! The details are phenomenal! I feel like I'm AT your wedding when I'm looking through them. GORGEOUS!
I love your photos! All of the pictures of guests wiping their eyes almost brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for sharing the story of your beautiful day!
Your pictures are beautiful! My favorites are the ones that are taken in front of that beautiful altar-did you DIY the altar too? Also love the shot of your cute little pug!
Thanks so much for sharing your day with us!
Gorgeous. Love Meatball. He's too cute. Loved everything. All the details. The settings. The pictures of you and your Dad. Soo Precious
congrats!!!
@milesbella: Thank you! I know the feeling, it's as if I re-live the whole thing. :)
@FutureMrsTimmins: Thanks! I mentioned that I think our photographer has emotional radar, as he always seemed to capture people in the exact moment they were laughing or crying. He was great!
@sueanddemetrius: I'm thinking you could mean one of two things. The arbor was not DIY. It was purchased and then we assembled it and decorated it. I bought it a few months before the wedding and left all the pieces outside to weather a bit so it wouldn't look so new. It wasn't the exact look I was going for, but it fit within the budget and it was something that could travel the 3 hours in a van to the venue. ;) If you meant the little white table, that was just a brown table that I painted white and then sanded a bit to stress it. It then held some extra flowers, ribbon wands and program fans.
These pictures made me smile and feel all warm inside :) It looks like you had an AMAZING time! What a beautiful wedding and such a cute couple!!
i love the light the photographer was able to capture you are so lucky to have such great shots
Thank you, ladies. :) I agree that our photographer is pretty awesome. He deserves all the credit!
Girl, look at you rocking those glasses. So adorable. Everything turned out beautiful.
Your wedding was so gorgeous, and so were you! Your glasses are adorable, and all of the details are to die for!
Love how you incorporated being Canadian into the wedding!!! Everything is absolutely gorgeous, I love the fact that you wore your glasses, and you sure rock them, it's great inspiration for other brides (like me) who wear glasses. Those cupcakes are sooo yummy looking, I love the emotion, the tears, the laughs, I love everything.
Thanks, ladies! I hadn't considered not wearing my glasses... I wear them every day! Without these puppies, I would not have been able to see when I was walking down the aisle. Being naturally clumsy, that's not a very good scenario for me. Haha.
Thank you for your kind comments!
@couawilou: The cupcakes WERE yummy. They tasted even better than they looked. My friend is a baker and she made us 4 kinds of cupcakes--chai tea latte, chocolate stout (husband is a beer lover), carrot cake and blueberry lemon--along with 3 kinds of cookies--salted caramel chocolate chip, regular chocolate chip and molasses ginger--and a small gingerbread spice cake for cutting. SHE ROCKED.
Congrats!Your wedding was amazing!!I love the colors you chose!!!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!!!! I am in tears because of all the emotional photos, LOL! I love the little table holding the programs.... I wasn't going to do programs but this makes me want to...... :) Congratulations!

I never thought I would share so many pictures of our wedding online, but now that I see all the shots, I simply must. If anyone in the Philadelphia area is looking for a photographer, I cannot recommend ours highly enough. All photo credit here goes to Georgi Anastasov and his work truly deserves this kind of sharing.
These photos document our 6 PM wedding ceremony and some of our reception. Photos from before this point are linked above. Not pictured is the food or cocktail hour, which you can see in the first link above with the detail pictures. Most of the elements of this wedding were DIY, from the groomsmen vests and dog outfit to the flowers and all the paper goods. I hope you like what you see!
Above: Our violinist played awesome music, like The Beatles and Jeff Buckley. For me to walk down the aisle, I selected a melodic rendition of The Final Countdown.
Above: Our dog, Meatball, was escorted down the aisle by my (now) sister-in-law.
Above: Our rings were in a nest and passed around to everyone in attendance, starting with the Mother of the Bride and ending with the Mother of the Groom, aka, a ring warming ceremony. This was our unity element.
Above: This little table held our program fans and ribbon wands. The table was the first wedding-related purchase we made. We also used this table in our engagement photos. It now sits in our living room!
My husbands vows were a little funnier than mine. Also very touching. He actually wrote the entire ceremony. :)
Above: I love this picture of my sister and husband hugging!
Above and Below: Our photographer really has "emotional radar" or something. He always managed to catch people in the moment! The groom's brother really broke down after the ceremony was over. It was very sweet.
Above: We held the reception inside this log cabin. The cocktail hour was outside on the wrap around deck.
Above: Making good use of the puddle, since we had so much rain the day before!
Above: My first ugly-cry-face picture! I suppose it had to happen. ;)
Above: I am from Canada and so was my side of the bridal party along with my family and some friends. We tried to incorporate some Canadian elements into our Philadelphia-area wedding. For instance, our favors were little bottles of Nova Scotia maple syrup, purchased in my hometown!
Above: A guest enjoys one of our three signature beers, brewed by a homebrewing friend. We had Hoppily Ever After, Something Old New Borrowed and Blueberry Ale, and 'Til Death Do Us Porter. I got to come up with the names, which was the fun part for me. Otherwise, I stick to wine. :)
Thanks for looking! I hope you liked the pictures. :)
