Afloral is tricky. I ordered three times from them. One of the items which was most expensive was a blue hydrangea bush. It looked great in the pictures but arrived a mess. I ended up stripping the petals to use in the aisle because I didn't want to pay return shipping. I found the bouquets I purchased to be very pretty though.
When I was planning our wedding, I ordered from Afloral. We went with some bouts and a bridal bouquet. They arrived on time, but everything looked pretty bad. We ended up sending them all back and going with real flowers instead.
It sucks that you aren't able to use the flowers--
We have to use silk for our wedding, so we ordered all of our real-touch bouquets, bouts and petals from afloral and it all turned out fabulous!

Hi ladies,
I have been deciding on whether or not to use silk/real touch flowers or the real deal so I ordered two samples from afloral.com (4.5 inch real touch gerbera daisies $3/each) to help with my decision and here is my humble review.
SHIPPING/PACKAGING: I ordered the daisies on Sunday evening and they arrived Wednesday during the day. The flowers were wrapped in sturdy paper and had plastic support around the base and stem to keep the shape. Some of the petals were still bent, but I didn't fix them. Not sure if I'd iron/steam it out or what..?
TOUCH: The tops of the petals felt very realistic but the bottoms were less so. The stems had little hairs on them and were very sturdy.
PETALS: Like I said, some of them were bent and up close it seemed fairly fake although they did seem to photograph quite well. The middle of the flower (need a biology expert here!) was the most obvious fake part because it is plastic and the light reflected off of it.
STEM: As you can see in some of the photos, I thought I could just take a pair of kitchen scissors and trim the stem but there is a long wire running through the stem that makes it impossible--one would need wire clippers to cut the stem. You can look at this as a good thing, as it makes the flower sturdy or a bad thing because it will be a pain in the ass to cut a bunch of them.
OVERALL: I will be using these flowers in a vase, not for my wedding! Ultimately, I will go with real flowers. Some other variations from afloral.com might be more realistic. The one part that really gave these flowers away was the plastic middle part but if not for that, I probably would have used these.
