@Treejewel19:  Oh yeah…the fatty cyst thing…that’s our BAG BABY!

Certain breeds are notorious for them and Mr. 99’s Golden was a walking cyst factory, aside from being unslightly and if located in the wrong place, uncomfortable, they’re really not a big deal.

But I get the being freaked out part, nothing good comes from a lump, even if it is a benign sack of fat….either way, I promise, its going to be just fine, and its nothing worth losing sleep over.  They’ll remove it, analyze it and your baby will be home and back on her feet in less than a week!

@Treejewel19:  hopefully its just a fatty cyst! Our dog has a bunch of them, including a big one on his side. He’s almost 11 though! Our vet has said theres no real reason to remove, though my FFIL has spent thousands removing almost 20 from his dog over the years.

Our Boxer had multiple benign (thank god) lumps removed. Given that the breed is prone to cancer we freaked out plenty of times. The good news is you caught it quickly, hoping you get good news soon!

@Treejewel19:  Haven’t dealt with it but sending you major HUGS!  I’m sure everything is going to be fine and it’s so great you found it early and are getting to the root of it!

@Treejewel19:  My Bru has a fatty cyst on his chest and it’s been there since he was 3 (he’s 7 now.)  Definitely get it checked out but it may not be a big deal.

Just saw your update.  A hernia was what I was thinking it was based on the placement.  Hope your little one has a speedy recovery and the biopsy results are negative.  🙂

@Treejewel19:  Glad to hear she is doing ok and hoping the biopsy comes back cancer free. That lil face is precious! I know what you mean I hate when my furry children are sick or have anything going on….kills me.

My bulldog got bit a few years ago by a rattlesnake in the face. He spend 2 days in doggie ICU and I thought at first he wasn’t going to make it…..I was a wreck!

Sending lots of love to your precious fur baby!
