talk to someone or watch tv whilst doing them would be my tip as otherwise I got frustrated with it taking so long, and use a damp cotton bud to pick bigger gems up and I used a pin with a tiny amount of glue on the end to do the smaller ones and best tip - JUST ENJOY!! :D xxx
I love these! I wish I had the patience to do something like these. Maybe my mom would like a project? HAHAHA

UPDATE
I have finished them, all in all took about 8000 crystals, 20 hours and a bucket load of patience but well worth it :D xxxx
What kind of crystals did you use? Swarovski? Or a different kind?
different, I couldn't justify spending 100's just on the crystals, they are just as beautiful though, the pics really do not do the shoes justice :(
Love them! I'm thinking of doing the same but in Blue!
wow those look great!
I've been wanting to strass my shoes for ages now and I think I definately will after seeing all the threads on here!
Which Ebay seller did you buy from? I'm in the uk too and have been looking for a uk seller who did them cheaply.
If everything goes well then I probably won't stop at just my wedding shoes!
msuski100 was the seller, I ordered them on a tuesday evening (about 10pm) and had them thurs morn :D and they combine postage so say you bought 10 packs all with 99p postage, you only pay the 99p for all of it :) Brilliant!!
they have different shapes, different colours and sizes :) I used about 4000 3mm, 2000 2mm and 1mm, 1000 4mm and 150 5mm and about 2oz of gemtac glue :D (but only have little feet)
Good luck, I had fun doing it, and feel so proud to say I did them myself :D

I said that for my wedding I would love to have crystal encrusted shoes and everyone laughed and said it would be far too expensive blahdy blahdy blah
After seeing some posts on here I decided to go for it and do my own. So I bought some plain black comfy wide fit shoes (my feet are oddly wide) for £15 and bought about 8000 crystals from ebay for £11 and some gemtac glue for £7, and got to work.
After doing just over half a shoe, I realised I needed many more 3mm crystals and maybe a few more 2mm ones, and had about 950 spare 5mm ones ... oops!
So I have ordered more today for £7 more and they should be here on Tuesday.
So in total my wedding shoes have cost £40 and I will have quite a few spare crystals to strass my flower girls shoes too and my mum wants some done too :D
So, now for some pics :D
What do you all think?
They are not finsihed, and glue was wet in this pic, hopefully will finish them on tuesday when the other crystals come. Only done this side of one shoe lol x
