Normally, I am not a big video watcher online. If I click on a news story for instance, and it leads to a video with a 30 second commercial to watch a 10 second headline – I close it before anything starts.
The other day I saw this on my newsfeed, via FB, and just by chance clicked to watch.
Have you seen this? I think you should! It brought up so many emotions of compassion, love, support, anger… I don’t know how to put the feelings into words but it really did touch me. If you feel like watching, post your thoughts on the video here!

I think it’s a really cute, touching video – but I am sure there are TONS of mothers by unusual ways who don’t take credit or acknowledge the uniqueness of their situation. They are mothers first, the rest is just commentary. I wouldn’t want to be treated any different because of an unusual way I may have obtained my children.

I think that is the point though – that there are so many stories to each individual, full of history, and it is a reminder not to judge others so quickly! Which I think is a very important message these days.

I cried watching that. Thank you for sharing it! I think it’s important to realize that someone can become a parent in many, many ways…and that they are no less of a parent than anyone else.
