Horrible experience!! The owner Michelle said she can make a custom wedding dress for me after me showing her exactly what I wanted. This was in August 2009. I made an appt after 1 month or so to go over fabric. She wasn't there for my appt. That's when I should have known how unprofessional she is. I had her staff call her and she came to meet me at shop 15 Min's later with no fabric. Just a lame excuse of why she doesnt have it. Personally I think 1 month is enough time to get a swatch.

In October I inquired about fabric again. She gave me the excuse of its bridal week let me see if I can get you the original dress at the same price give me a few weeks which I did. She then contacts me to see if I qualify for an MTV show so I can advertise her shop at the same time and that she can get me the dress but it would cost me $700 above my original budget. I told her I couldn't afford that and after speaking with MTV rep I didn't qualify for show. I also made her aware that my wedding date was moved from June to end of January. She said no problem.

Beginning of December still no fabric. She just shows me what she says will be the slip of the dress that she made for me so I can look at the different textures. Now How can you not even have a slip made for me after 4 months. I'm paying $1200 for a custom dress and the slip wasn't even custom. It did not fit!!, another sign of her giving me a run around.

I met with Michelle/Lena before the holidays and she promised the dress would be done. So. I made an appt for Jan 6 and I showed but there is no dress made. Her excuse 1- was I called you and left you a message I thought you didnt want me to make the dress anymore (LIES FYI If she gives you the excuse I didn't have your number or I left you a message and you know she didn't she is most likely lieing). 2- I ordered the fabric but the wrong one came in, 3- The fabric is too expensive I cant do the dress in an alecon lace bc I would have to buy a roll. Long story short the excuses kept flying out of her mouth lie after lie. She then has me make an appt for the following week prmising she will have it all done. The day of our appt she calls me stating I'm leaving the shop bc you are not here. I call her back to say its 6pm our appt isn't until 7pm. Mind you I have this on paper bc I already know what a flake she is.She says I already left Im sorry.  She has given me this excuse more then a hand full of times of how she didn't know I was coming how she called me left me a messsage. Also that she must have been leaving messages at the wrong #.

We schedule another meeting bc she says I made the dress whats missing is the top so the appt day we made she reschedules bc she need 3 more days to finish. She was suppose to be making me a one shoulder lace mermaid dress. When I arrive for my appt middle of Jan. Mind you 2 weeks before my wedding. She shows me a dress that's not the lace pattern I wanted, has beading on the lace which she was aware I did not want and says she will hand pick it off, buttons down the zipper which I did not want. and it strapless with a lace flap over breast bc she claims she hasnt finished the top. . It wasn't at all what I showed her that I wanted. Also the dress didn't even zip it was two sizes two small. Now who makes a custom dress too small for their client. Everyone who sews knows you make it bigger and take it in.

What I believe she did was get an off the rack dress and try to to say she made it custom. Luckily for most of the visits I had a friend with me who is an attorney. I managed to date to get $300 of my $600 deposit because she refused to give me back the whole $600 only $400. Also to date she still owes me $100. I have been trying to track her down for the last $100. I go to My belle Boutique shop and there is never money. There are 2 banks across the street but she claims she doesn't have her debit card with her. Also she will say stop in and give me a date and time to come by and the shop is closed. This has been the case for the last month and half. I think her business is going under bc she can't afford to give me back the $100 she owes me.
