That is so exciting for you! Hopefully your BF doesn't make you wait TOO long, just enough for it to be a huge surprise! You'll have to post a pic of your ring when he proposes! And if you get antsy waiting, just hit up the hive and you'll get tons of support!
Take your time with picking out the right one. I was so focused on just finding a ring that I picked out one I only sorta loved- like it was close to what I wanted but not quite. Waiting isn't half as bad as you might think it is because its all worth it when you find the right ring. And dont be afraid of custom rings- my second engagement ring was custom and just what I wanted this time

aw thats so exciting, I think that has to be the step that you know a guy is really serious about you when you shop for rings
we went shopping around last April, but found them to be ooh so pricey, we're both very frugal, he said the diamonds were cheaper in england so he just bought me one already, I can't wait to see it, then I'll really feel engaged, I'll see it in two weeks

easy a plain gold band with a round traditional brilliant diamond; he said it's an English ring don't know what that means I'm so excited to get it, he kept playing with my ring finger I ignored it because he talked about marriage last year and there was nothing so I didn't think he was serious, lo and behold we started looking at rings

Hello everyone! I just happen to stumble upon this website and I really enjoyed reading everyone posts and friendly remarks. So I decided to join!!
Well my Bf and I went E-ring shoping over the weekend. We've been talking about marriage for quite a while now, and he's just waiting for me to finish up at the university (one more year to gooo!!).
We decided to look at rings so that he has an idea of what type of setting i like. Because he just doesn't have a clue!! I absolutely love the pave' setting, and loved it even more seeing it in person!! I wasn't too sure on whice diamond shape i like more between the round brilliant or princess cut, but when they brought out the diamonds, I knew from the moment I saw it the round brilliant was for me. It was an exciting day and we both had a lot of fun.
My Bf has given me clues that he will propose sometime this year so i have about 6 months of waiting in suspense!!
