Hello everyone! I just happen to stumble upon this website and I really enjoyed reading everyone posts and friendly remarks. So I decided to join!!
Well my Bf and I went Engagement Ring shoping over the weekend. We’ve been talking about marriage for quite a while now, and he’s just waiting for me to finish up at the university (one more year to gooo!!).
We decided to look at rings so that he has an idea of what type of setting i like. Because he just doesn’t have a clue!! I absolutely love the pave’ setting, and loved it even more seeing it in person!! I wasn’t too sure on whice diamond shape i like more between the round brilliant or princess cut, but when they brought out the diamonds, I knew from the moment I saw it the round brilliant was for me. It was an exciting day and we both had a lot of fun.
My Bf has given me clues that he will propose sometime this year so i have about 6 months of waiting in suspense!!

How exciting! I was in your shoes just 3 months ago and Fiance proposed last week. It is so exciting being engaged! It was a complete surprise and he knew exactly what ring to get since we browsed months prior. Keep us posted!

Congratulations!!! What kind of rings did you like? I love ring pictures :). You’ll have to tell us your proposal story when it comes!

That is so exciting for you! Hopefully your Boyfriend or Best Friend doesn’t make you wait TOO long, just enough for it to be a huge surprise! You’ll have to post a pic of your ring when he proposes! And if you get antsy waiting, just hit up the hive and you’ll get tons of support!

Take your time with picking out the right one. I was so focused on just finding a ring that I picked out one I only sorta loved- like it was close to what I wanted but not quite. Waiting isn’t half as bad as you might think it is because its all worth it when you find the right ring. And dont be afraid of custom rings- my second engagement ring was custom and just what I wanted this time

So very cool that you are shopping for together! It’s a great way to establish a solid rapport around the topic of jewelry and diamonds in particular. Soon you’ll grow comfortable discussing diamonds as well as gain knowledge of what’s available, but more importantly, he’ll know what’s right for you when the time is right!

aw thats so exciting, I think that has to be the step that you know a guy is really serious about you when you shop for rings
we went shopping around last April, but found them to be ooh so pricey, we’re both very frugal, he said the diamonds were cheaper in england so he just bought me one already, I can’t wait to see it, then I’ll really feel engaged, I’ll see it in two weeks

Welcome and congrats! The ring shopping is so much fun. It’s nice that he took you so he has an idea of what you like. I love seeing pictures – can you google it and give us examples of what you’re looking for? 🙂

easy a plain gold band with a round traditional brilliant diamond; he said it’s an English ring don’t know what that means I’m so excited to get it, he kept playing with my ring finger I ignored it because he talked about marriage last year and there was nothing so I didn’t think he was serious, lo and behold we started looking at rings
