ok, i couldn't stop. but it turned out to be a beautiful ceremony. and i have to say, the beer can/sunflower wreaths were kind of awesome.
Nope, not alone, though now my FI wants to try mattress surfing, lol
ha! at least he doesn't want to serve squirrel at your reception.
(for the record, FI grew up eating squirrel...)
Obviously, I have been living under a rock because I didn't know people ate squirrels!
I watch bizarre foods and I know they eat guinea pigs in Ecuador..
I couldn't help but laugh when I saw the mattress surfing. *GUILTY* because I want to try it too LOL.
they do, indeed. FFIL keeps threatening to feed it to me and i'm like, "bring it on!"
the mattress surfing looks like a blast. i have to admit i'm kind of jealous of these informal BBQ receptions...
OMG!! I love that show! I saw an episode the other day. The bridesmaids wore camo jumpsuits (you know the kind hunters wear) and so did the guys and her dress was kelly green and so was the vail!! I grew up in a hick town in South jersey so I so appreciate the show.
They had a marathon on last night. It was amazing. I didn't feel too bad laughing because the people themselves definitely appreciated how bizarre a lot of the stuff they were doing really was.
then I flipped over to Lifetime to watch Total Party Plan-Off (or whatever it's called); there was a total bridezilla on there, only she wasn't actually planning a wedding...she just acted like she was. She was heinous. I couldn't even laugh, I just spent the whole episode cringeing.
i must say, after planning, throwing it all to the wind and planning a BBQ reception where anything goes is kinda tempting... think about it: you could do whatever! and it's got to be cheaper, lol!!
ha ha, yes! especially if you use newspapers as your tablecloths and beer cans for your centerpieces ;)
I wish we had that show here, it sounds fantastic. All of the other shows/magazines seem to put pressure on brides to have the perfect day, at least these people are having fun with it all! It's probably not what they dreamed of since childhood, but at least they're being realistic :)
I love this show too! My FI now says he is going to buy me a pink rifle!!!
OMG and I missed this - I am so on the look out for it from now on, and no it doens't make you a bad person for watching it!!!
Going to check my local listing!
Dang it I don't have CMT - for some reason I only have GAC which is pretty much all videos all the time!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
this is a new show on CMT. i'm flipping back and forth between it and "how to look good naked" on lifetime, and...i just don't know. i mean, it's all so awful, but then again it's somebody's wedding, but....a beer can archway? for real?
does watching this make me an awful person? would it help my case if i said i gave up watching "moment of truth" because i found it too mean?
