Weddingbee boards

Well, today is my 35th birthday (ugh, I'm so old!), and my guy is sleeping right now since he works the overnight shift.  We are waiting until Saturday night when he's off to celebrate with my parents (my step-mom is out of town until then), but I'm wondering why he brought home a bottle of champagne.  Hmmmmmmm.......

Keeping true to the Christmas challenge, I haven't mentioned anything remotely close to wanting a ring, but this has me wondering, "What if?"  Just had to hop onto WB and tell y'all about my suspicions, lol!  It sure would be nice though........

I hope it happens, guys don't buy champagne just to buy champagne. Well at least my guy doesn't.

I'm hoping that Saturday is that day especially seeing how guys don't seem to understand every year they wait is a year were getting older.  If it doesn't happen we'll just try to enjoy the day.l

Thank you, ladies!  I'm not getting my hopes up because he had originally told me it would happen by NYE, but I can't be 100% positive.  I don't drink very often, so this bottle of bubbly totally threw me for a loop.  We shall see, lol!

I soooooo do not have my hopes up for tonight!!

The ONLY expectation I have is to eat a large amount of dee-lish Chinese food and to later wash it down with some yummy champagne.

Hey everyone!  No proposal, but that's ok, it was a great night anyway!  The food was awesome and so was the company.  My parents surprised me with a Coach handbag (yay), and my son gave me $20 he earned himself by raking yards in the neighborhood.  My guy got me a beautiful black leather-looking jacket which I love.  Today we're relaxing, watching football, and getting ready to take the kids out trick-or-treating.

We were watching the new show on AMC called "The Walking Dead" (it's about zombies, and I love zombie movies), and when it was over my guy started acting kind of goofy.  Well, goofier than normal, lol.  I was laying on the couch, and he walks over and gets on one knee, but he's still a lot taller than me.  He starts to giggle (so unlike him!), and I'm like "OMG?  Are you for real?"  He keeps repeating over and over again that he loves me while laughing nervously, and I'm kissing him while he's saying this, and he's telling me to stop kissing him so he can talk, lol.  He calls me by my full name and asks if I would marry him, and I went crazy!  We were hugging and kissing and crying, and then he says that I still hadn't answered him.  I said, "Of course, you big goofball!"  And he put this amazing ring on my finger! 

What an awesome Halloween (he knows it's my favorite holiday), and I totally did not expect it.  I figured since I didn't get it for my birthday that it was coming at Christmas, but I never thought it would be tonight.  And we still had 1/2 the bottle of champagne left, so we celebrated with that, lol.  More details to come later, and thanks for all the well wishes, bees!  Your good vibes really worked!!!!!
