DH suprised me with this little guy today!!!!!!!!
ive been wanting a beagle forever! (i would hunt with them as a kid with family) i am sooooo excited! hes been super lovey and sleepy all day so i havent really seen his personality much............I need help with a name!
He is adorable :-)
I would probably call him Sweet Pea, even though he is a guy, or Peanut :-/

Good lord, how old is that puppy? It does NOT look old enough to be away from its mother yet! He's super cute, but he also looks super young!

I have zero idea why, but when I saw that doggy I immediately wanted to call him Beauregard, then call him Bo, Bobo, Bojangles, Boop.
A rescue in my area has a doggy they named Beep. I freaking love it. BEEP!
I should probably get more sleep.
What an adorable little Beagle! We used to have two of them named Nash and Asher when I was younger.. they were brothers. :) My parents have one named Ollie/Oliver.

His mom has a professional photo of them together in her living room when he was really little (under 5?) and it's super precious. :D
@MrsRuby: AWWWWWWW!! I love Beagles, they're so adorable, I'd like one. For a name how about Snoop, perhaps Snoopy is too obvious.

One thing thou, if your pup doesn't start perking up with energy, you should definately call your vet. Not all pups are crazy hyper but a strong lack of energy can be an indicator of something.
You should take him to the vet anyways, do you know how old he is?
He looks pretty young, so not to scare you but be careful letting him outside if you don't know if he's had his shots. If he hasn't, than don't go too far & try to stay in gravel areas/rocky areas (avoid grass). Even with shots, still be careful cause their immune systems aren't built up yet. You may know all this, but just in case :)

thanks for the info serabell!: ive raised dogs my entire life, particularly beagles. (grew up on a HUGE farm) Hes doing fine i think he was just sleepy from the excitement and ride home. hes already went to the vet and been wormed. hes eating puppy food and is happy!!! :D
@MrsRuby: Well in that case YAY :). I guess it was a big day for you both! & Happy birthday :). As for names, I'm going to say Howard, Toby, Strudel, Clover, Rango, Uno, Willow, Baxter, Bayer, Nickels, Ranger & Rocket. And we'd all love more puppy pictures!
we had 2 names picked out... Bullet, Arrow
we are leaning more towards Bullet (bully) he likes to pick on\play our other dog haha!

omg I'm so jealous! If I had one I'd def. name him something from the "Peanuts" franchise, I'm obsessed w/ Snoopy, but no "real life" beagles ever seem to look like him! What about Linus, Franklin (my family dog's name!) or Rerun? (That's Linus and Lucy's little brother in case you were wondering ;)
