Could you buy a size up on a site like ebay, and then just sell your current dress? That might alleviate some stress. Congrats on the pregnancy though!
There's a post on one of the boards about altering the dress to make it fit without losing weight and without taking it out. If it's strapless, instead of having it go straight across in the back, have them cut it so it's almost like a sweetheart neckline but in the back.
that's so sweet.. don't stress, just do what you can. Many dresses can be altered. The worst that happens is you can't fit or alter it, tell the bride and ask whether she wants you to get another one is a bigger size or let someone else wear it. :)

I'm in a wedding next month, and I ordered my dress in June before I found out I was pregnant. I'm 13 weeks now, and tried the dress on on Saturday and boy was it snug! I've only gained 4lbs but WOW those 4lbs make a difference. I'm hoping to be able to let the dress out or something, but If I gain more than 5lbs this month I think it's a lost cause. It is a Jim Hjelm too. I'm so bummed.
