Wow...it was really a surprise? How did you manage to dress so nicely and look so pretty and put-together? (If I have a surprise shower, I'll probably manage to show up in sweatpants.)
Well, they told me we were going to an awards luncheon for FMIL. But... I already knew. My friends said my performance was oscar-worthy. I didn't want to ruin it for the moms after they worked so hard!

So my super secret surprise bridal shower was Sunday! And wow was it intense. I hardly remember anything about it except being crazy nervous that I looked like a moron up in front of everyone. Now my apartment is full of boxes. We got SO much stuff it's ridiculous. I almost regret registering for so much stuff. Almost.
The biggest hit was not on the registry - FI's grandmother got us a deep fryer! He spent the whole ride home making a list of things he was going to put in it. I'll tell you, the cat was near the top. It was a beautiful day and our mom's were SO happy they "pulled it off". :-)
AND, to top it all off, my sister/MOH stopped by yesterday with the list of gifts and had already pre-addressed all of my thank you note envelopes! I think she officially wins the award for MOH of the year for that.
But enough about me... on to the pics!
