My Bridal Shower Rocked! Garden Tea Party themed!

I was blessed to have my mother host a fabulous bridal shower for me at a family friend's home. The theme was garden tea party and all the guests were asked to wear hats and dresses. Martinis were served such as Blushing Bride, Pure Peach and some others. Food was fabulous and simply elegant - kabobs, salads and pasta. There was several sweets on the tables and an amaretto cake to top it off. The games were fabulous and "adult" per the bride's request - there was even a suprise guest invited (wink wink - you ladies can figure that out) It was fabulous and amazing and I was so happy to be involved, since I dont have bridesmaids and everyone is really busy to plan something - so I had to help my mother out on this & we are both very happy with the result!

@Nati-Lyte: can i ask how the invitation was worded so that guests knew to wear hats? We are doing same idea, but can't figure out how to put that on the invite!

@mshazzy:i just had a tea party themed shower and on the invites it said, "the bride to be loves hats! wear a hat to the shower and be entered into a drawing for a prize" :)
