I feel like a strong lady or gentlemen could zip that right up as is.  Just use the buddy system.

@bestbuddies:  what a bummer! You look great though, so I wouldn’t go the weight loss route. Is there any extra material in the seams? It doesn’t need to come out that much at all!

Can you call the maker of the dress and see if they can get you some extra material of the same color? Then you can have the seamstress expand it a bit and not have to stress out so much about the sizing!

@bestbuddies:  I JUST had this problem w/ a dress. It was way too small on the bust, it was about 2″ apart at the top. A seamstress took EVERY seam out and it fit! Most bridesmaid dresses leave extra fabric for this exact reason!

I had a dress zip like that and after I got my implants it didnt fit. I had a seamstress add a fabric v it was not noticable because its under your arm.  Easy fix.  Go eat the cheesecake.

@bestbuddies:  My mom had a lot bigger of a gap than that.  I said “there is no way we are getting this zipped.”

In walks my fiancé, who pulled it together and I zipped it right up…. so maybe enlist two volunteers.

@bestbuddies:  Try using a waist cincher:

I got a shorter version of this at Walmart to wear under my wedding gown and it did the trick to be able to zip the dress.

Also if you wear one of these you can probably skip a bra is just put in those shaping cups and everything should be fine.  If that doesn’t work take it to a seamstress.
