Wow, thanks for posting this! Its great to see other bride's breakdowns in cost.
That's impressive, good for you! We're attempting to stick to a $10k budget, but may end up going over that a little bit. :)
Wow you came in under budget. Way to Go!
Wow! That's inspiring! I'm also trying to plan a wedding for $10,000. Good to know it's possible.
That looks great and you did wonderfully! I also have a $10,000 budget and am SO worried about going over!
Thanks!! I was so happy to be under budget! It wasn't hard to do with a lot of DIY and searching for coupons and sales.. :)
What was your venue? I've got the same budget and live in the same location as you!
My Venue was the Holiday Inn Select Downtown St louis. I have both good and bad things to say about them... but over all good.
Good: they are willing to work with almost any budget and Lisa (banquet organizer) was a HUGE help and very good to work with. They just re-did the entire banquet halls so everything is NEW!
Bad: hotel rooms had some issues (but it was also in the middle of being renovated durring the time of my wedding -which they said it would be done months before my wedding) Do a taste test for the food... we didn't really like about half the things we tasted.. but in the end we found something we liked.
Wow, thanks so much for posting this! That's around what my budget will be. I have one question regarding the beverages for your wedding.. was any of it open bar? Or did you pay for a set amount of alcohol? Or just the bar/bartender? Thanks again!
We also have a under $10k budget. I've been using the wedding budget on both the Knot and Get.married to help us stay on track. I am also making as much as possible and buying what I can on ebay and CL to save money. In the end, I am on the right track.
