beautiful...question...is the mantilla veil supposed to be worn so far back?? are you wearing the veil and the flower?
@VirginiaMarie--It is by 2be. I posted pics a few months ago when I first tried it on so you may remember that. If there is another bride around here wearing this dress I would LOVE to see pics. 2be is such a small designer I can't find pics anywhere.
@iceprincess--I honestly knew nothing about bustles so I was thankful the seamstress knew what she was doing. It turned out beautiful.
How exciting! You look amazing, and I LOVE that hair flower. (if it comes up missing, I have no idea where it went.)
@zalonia--I think technically the veil is supposed to be worn higher up around the face but I was playing around with it and am considering wearing it lower like in the picture. I am back and forth if the veil will make the final cut or not. The flower is totally in for atleast the reception. What do you think? Not both together as I think thats too much.
A mantilla can be worn in several ways. Traditionally its up framing the face. But when I tried mine on like that it was looking like a I was a jumbo jet with wings about to take off. It also depends how you wear your hair if you had it up or down would be a consideration.

love the veil. love the flower....just not together! i personally think part of the beauty of the mantilla veil is that it frames the face and having it hang so far in the back seems a little off. i think it would look best closer to the hairline...jmo. good luck!
Does the lace on the veil match the lace on the dress? If not,I'd get something a little more simple and sheer. I don't think mantilla veils are right for every dress,but I actually like it better positioned where you have it.
Your seamstress did a great job on the bustle! Looks like you'll be comfy all night (but make sure you have people who know exactly how to do it for you too!)

@smyley--The lace on the veil matches the dress perfectly. I actually had never considered a veil but I just walked past this beautiful ivory one on sale and tried it on for fun. I have a feeling it may end up being a day of wedding decision. Probobly veil for ceremony and flower for reception. To be determined. haha

Today I went in for my first fitting and got a chance to see the beautiful ruffles bustled and my new twigs and honey hair flower and mantilla veil with the dress. What do you think? Only 1 month away.
