@sweetcrackers: LOL there are days my FI would send him to you -just kidding but dachshunds are extremely mischevious (we have two)

I have seen several posts on how to bustle ballgown - especially with very flowy fabric.
I have an organza ruffled ballgown and a tulle and lace ballgown with chiffon flowers
So here are the trains and here are the bustles - I think they did a great job
For the gown I am wearing for my ceremony and reception I went with a three point over bustle (american bustle)
I wanted a sturdy and easy bustle for the dress I am wearing to go gamble on the Strip and run around and fun - went with a french or under bustle - also three points - ties with ribbons underneath

Anyways - hope this helps anyone that has a complicated or poofy dress to bustle on what they look like
