I love the idea... it's a great cake that would suit your theme well! I had to laugh, as my husband only eats yellow cake with chocolate frosting too! We actually had 4 different flavors for cakes, but the one we cut was his flavor!
I think that looks cute. Hilary Duff had a cake similar to that but your picture is much cuter.
@VagabondGurl: Thats so funny, it is a nice way to make soemthing theirs too I thought since most of what is picked out was by me an vaguely approved my the FI, haha
When I saw your cake, besides making me hungry, I immediately thought of a country themed wedding!
@Applestar13: I looked at the hilary duff cake but her layers an tiers are much thicker and taller, I think the other cake looks better. I like the concept a lot though.
Cute. What is on top of the cake, fruit? I'm just having trouble making it out! As long as it tastes good that's the only thing that matters!

Hi Ladies, so I have had a rough time with the cake decision. I am not a huge cake eater and niether is my FI. However, my parents love cake and were so excited about it. So I put my mom in charge of the project. After looking high and low we have made a decision.
My wedding is very vintage and country and simple so I thought this was a unique and appropriate choice. Also my FI only likes yellow cake with chocolate icing so that is what we will chnage about this cake, other than that it will be as is.
What do you ladies think would you want to eat this cake?
