I'm sooo sorry!! I know how that feels. Last yr we found our cat, Chief dead in our home.
I think it is lovely that you want to plant bulbs where he is buried.
Oh northernazbride you just made me cry. He's in a better place, kitty heaven. I am so sorry for your loss. Hugs to you!
So sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is always a heartbreaking ordeal. *hugs* to you.
I am so sorry for your loss. Your pet was lucky to have had you and as much love as it did. Many hugs..
Your pet is at the rainbow bridge with a few of mine too!
Hugs.
I've always been the type of person, since I was a little girl who would always cry if an animal died in a movie or book. I didn't cry over people till I was in like sophmore year of highschool.
More hugs. I would be a complete wreck if something happened to my puppy, she's my baby. You're handling it so well. I think planting some nice flowers would be a great idea. I think a nice way of remembrance for a kitty passed on would be planting some catnip. :) He'd probably like that.
big hugs. i'm so sorry for your loss. lossing a pet is one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. Just remember that he had a lovely life and i'm sure felt loved until the end.
I'm so sorry, northernazbride! Losing a pet is incredibly difficult. They really are friends and family members.
Thank you so much ladies, I really appreciate all your kind and heartfelt words. Belle- I love the idea of the rainbow bridge as well, and Teal- I really like the idea of planting some catnip on his grave. You gals always cheer me up.
oh i am sooooo sorry! my heart goes out to you. HUGS!!!!
I'm so so so sorry to hear of your loss. I, too, lost my 20-year-old cat yesterday. I had to put him down after I found him too sick to move and moaning. Needless to say, I totally get where you're coming from. Big big hugs. We bought a potted evergreen for our balcony today (since we don't have a yard or grass!) and hung his collar on it in his honor.
I'm so sorry! My dogs really are like my kids - if something happened to one of them, well you may as well just take me too, because I just don't know how I would deal with it. Ughhh.
Hun, so sorry to hear about your loss. I lsot my cat just a week ago, and I can imagine how difficult that was for you. Big hugs from Toronto, Canada go out to you!
I am so sorry. We just had to put down our cat a week ago, so I'm right there with you. *hug* Catnip is a sweet idea.
I am so so sorry. We had to put down my dog of 15 years in May, and I still cry when I think about her. It's incredibly difficult, but at least you know that your sweet kitty is no longer in pain. I'll be thinking of you, and sending big hugs and positive vibes from Raleigh.
So sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved cat. Losing a pet is so difficult.
Ah I feel your pain. We lost 4 cats in September, including 2 of my husband's 3 cats. Very depressing.
I just now saw this. I'm so sorry. Losing a pet who is a member of your family is always hard. Just a few months ago my parents had to put down the Dog we'd had for 14 years. It's tough. I can't imagine how I'd be if I lost my kitty! *HUGS*
Aww! I am so sorry! I know from experience that losing a pet is very hard and takes awhile to get over. Hang in there! *hugs*

I'm having a rough morning. Last night the landlords came over to do some work on the house. We were all hanging outside chatting, talking about how great the house is and all the great memories we've been making here. After they left we went inside to find the cat dead on the bedroom floor. The dogs had obviously slobbered all over him and there was a small trail of blood. We thought maybe this was evidence of foul play but once we investigated further we decided this wasn't the case. He was pretty old and I had been thinking that he was nearing the end. I think he probably had a heart attack or stroke under the bed or something and the dogs pulled him out to see what was going on. His neck wasn't broken and we couldn't find any puncture wounds, just a scrape on his leg where one of the dogs must have pulled on him a little. We buried him under a lovely tree in the front yard... and now I just feel so sad... I have some bulbs that I think I'll plant over his grave this morning. It just sucks really badly.
