Does anyone else HATE their cell phone?!?!
I can’t not have one. I’ve had a cellphone for 8 years now and I feel like my purse would be empty without one. However, I really, really hate how frustrating they are!
We have service through Sprint and cannot make calls from our home because we don’t have service. Their solution for us is to buy our own little tower for our house (that may not work anyhow) and to pay for the equipment AND monthly fee to use the thing. Not to mention that we already pay for our service, so why should we have to have our own tower JUST to use our phones in our home? BTW, we live in the city and their customer support people have said that we live in a “good” service area. What. the. heck.
To top it off, my “smart” phone has been on the blink. There’s some sort of manufacturing defect with windows mobile and it keeps locking up. I’ve had the phone I have for less than one month and this morning it’s locking up. This is my third phone in about 2 years.
I’d like to switch to verizon, but I may have to do it on my own without my husband which means we’ll pay twice as much a month for phones until his contract with Sprint is up in April.
We’re considering just paying the termination fee and moving on with our lives, but it seems like such a waste!!
So, bees, do you have any advice?! Should I just suck it up and wait 3 days for a new phone and then wait several months and not make calls from my house? Or should we bite the bullet and just make the move that we know will work.
Anyone else have this dilemma?!
