Be honest! I’m trying out centerpieces still and personally I like it, I just wish I could have fresh flowers, but it’s totally not an option for me.
These are with red carnations, and I plan on having clear water beads in the vase. I might try silk hydrangeas also but i think it’d be more $.
TThese are my “inspiration pictures” :

I think they are great. Good job.

Cute, I think the flowers around the vase look a little boxy though, I would mess them up a little, it’ll make it more interesting

I think you did a fantastic job. They are beautiful!!!!!

I think they look great, but I’m going to 2nd @kingytobe: and say the flowers look just a bit boxier then I would personally like. I also think that if you could have some more of the branches that go out rather then straight up it would add some extra dimension to them. 🙂

I think they are fantastic! I would love to see them with your vase filler. I’ve seen this done with colored water as well and it was awesome.

I think you have a great start. I too would like to see a few of the outside branches cut just a little shorter than the rest.
See in your first inspiration picture how the top of the branches actually forms a semi-circle?

It looks great but I think it would look better if the branches went down into the vase.

Beautiful! But I agree that if you put a few branches into the base it would make it perfect.

A few more branches, darker ones that pull out farther, would be perfect

Really nice! I agree with the PP’s about having the branches go down into the vase. Otherwise, very nicely done.

Ditto on the part about the branches needing to go down into the vase. Also I liked the other examples where they had some real red berries in the base of the vase and some submurged carnations too. Yes, I’d use water in the vase, definitely real berries and real submurged carnations.
gives the arrangement a more organic look when you can use as much real items as possible. Also use real rose petals.
Having when you can, the smell of fresh flowers is great at a table imho.
Love the basic idea and the arrangement. You have done great thus far! Just imho a few minor changes needed.

I think you could put something in the vase, but otherwise I love them!
