These centerpieces really capture the feel of your wedding. I agree that the lemon/lime bucket would look good with a ribbon. Blue would look really good if that is one of your wedding colors.
@sep queen-- I am going to do both of them and have 2 different centerpieces. Our venue has small round tables, so we'll have about 20-24 of them. I figure a little variety will be a good thing.

So, I think I have finally decided on my 2 centerpieces and wanted to see if people think they go together. My wedding is going to be in a small town at a restaurant housed in a restored victorian train station. I am going for kind of a rustic picnic-y theme. The centerpieces will be on white tables clothes and be surrounded by votive candles.
Centerpiece 1: Sunflowers in IKEA watering can. I am thinking about trying to use eucalyptus or some other tall greenery to provide some height and contrast. The ribbon will either be blue or raffia
Centerpiece #2: Lemons and Limes in IKEA steel pail (will possibly tie a blue or raffia ribbon around this as well)
What do you think, Bees?
