Your last sentence made me LOL. I also want to be on Jeopardy. We can do team WB Jeopardy someday! You were really close, though; maybe next year? At least you went out and tried for it! People have been telling me to try out for those shows forever but it just seems so complicated. Good for you!
ugh, that sucks!!!! Amazing that they even put that kind of stuff on Jeopardy, I haven't watched that show in a while (although I really should, considering the amount of Discover and History Channel with watch!).
I didn't get an email from Jeopardy, so I am assuming I failed too. LOL, look at it this way, when you finally pass and you do get called in for auditions (we're being optimistic!) they LOVE the stories of people who had to try a bajillion times to get on. That story has come up soooo many times in the interviews after the first commercial break, so I know the producers eat it up. Keep your chin up! :P
I bombed the online test too, I feel ya!
ETA: Not that you bombed it, you did better than I did!
Bahahahahaah! "Get out of my way you assdorf!" I love it!
Jeopardy is really hard, I rarely get any questions right on that show. I think getting that close to passing is a win in my book lol
On a side note, I always wanted to go on wheel of fortune. That looks a lil easier :D
Don't feel like an "assdorf"! You did really well compared to me. lol Jeopardy was my dream too because I was so good at it at home and I thought I was just going to be a shoo in. I went down to Sony studios TWICE and failed both times. Big time. But out of like, 75 people, only three or four passed. It's that ridiculous. But I did find out that the test questions are waay harder than the actual show, so you actually did better than you thought you did. Enjoy your chocolate fest and try again:)
P.S. New season of Real Housewives of Orange County coming up in a few weeks. Yay!
@Amaryllis: Thanks :) You should take the online test next year! It only takes a registration and 20 min on the computer. Then if you pass, you get a called for an in-person interview to show you also have some personality and look decent enough to be on camera. Too bad you're not close by, we could arrange some WB Trivial Pursuit tournament.
@MrsSl82be: Yeah I guess they're trying to make it more hip and current to lure young viewers. Apparantly I also missed "Are you there vodka, it's me __(Chelsea)". I didn't even have a clue on that one so I wrote "it's me Meliss". I could've used a shot of vodka at that moment.
@farmgirl2106: Ah, I was thinking if you took it after the last chat...You can still get called anytime in the next six months. I found the answers here so I know I failed: http://boards.sonypictures.com/boards . I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
Ugh, that sucks! I always feel like I'm competitive when I play Jeopardy from home, but I fail that test like a champ every year. Is there a way to see the questions and answers from the test?
ETA: Nvm! I see the link :).

So I decided one of the things on my bucket list is to be a contestant on Jeopardy! . I wanted to caption this post as "Hey Bees I'm going to be on TV and show how smart I am and win thousands of dollars and wave to you all on camera!" but alas. The online test happens only once a year, and I flunk..it..again..second year in a row. I thought I did really good this time too. I just looked at the answers and I only got 32 right, and I needed 35 to pass. Gah.
What pisses me off is I got French authors, pro golfers, African capitals, yet the difference between passing and failing came to two stupid pop culture questions I missed. I didn't get Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or Katy Perry. F-ing Katy Perry. Seriously show? I listen to rock dammit, not teeny bop bubblegum pop radio. Oh, and I also had a momentary brain fart and wrote Asdorf instead of Ascot for the English scarf thingie. I think that's going to be my new favorite curse word. "Get out of my way you assdorf!" "I failed the test like an assfdorf."
Anyways I just wanted to vent about that...I even suck at being a proper nerd :( I'm going to go have some chocolate now and try to go watch some trashy reality shows so I can become a well rounded, fully educated person.
