These are my DIY save the dates that were inspired by a someone’s post I Found on here a few weeks ago. My original plan was to buy magnets from a website that was going to end up being around 200 dollars but I could not make myself pay that much! (especially since I am a month late in sending my save the dates out!) So I saw this and fell in love with it!
I am making around 130 Save the dates. In all, I spent around 30 dollars to make these. I am going to include a picture or 2 with the card, just so people will know who we are! Wolf Camera has 6 Cent prints on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I am going to take advantage of that to save some more money!
The cardstock I bought from Michael’s for 6 dollars a piece for 100 pieces in a pack. I bought 2 packs and I used a 40% off coupon for one of them.
The stickers I got from staples. One pack made enough for me to send 3 stickers in each save the date. I believe they were around 6 dollars per pack as well.
I used Microsoft word to create my background and then downloaded the template from avery for the stickers.
My mom found these hole puncher things from Martha Stewart that we used on the corners.
Here is a pictures. All feedback would be greatly appreciated!
I still need to work on the stickers in the middle to get them to looking better. I just wanted to get a sample up to give people a general idea.
