Well, the reason I am asking is that, since centerpieces generally are placed in the center of the tables, each should appear as if guests are seeing it from “the front,” regardless of where at the table they are sitting. In other words, unlike an arrangement that you would place in front of a wall or on a church altar, you wouldn’t want anyone looking at the “back” of an arrangement that is only designed to be viewed correctly from just one, or perhaps three side(s.) I hope I am explaining this in a way that makes sense. 🙂
