Technology hates me sometimes! My husband is pretty good with computers, we just built a new desktop.
lol I don't really know that its him... he is pretty good with technology which is what makes this even weirder.
@CorgiTales: LOL! DH is the same way!!! I always end up yelling at him "Why did you touch technology?!?!?! You're not allowed to touch the technology!!!". I don't know what it is about him but he breaks every laptop he touches. Needless to say, he's not allowed near mine (except when his breaks and is in the shop, sigh).
Haha That happens every time he touches my laptop. I can be in the other room and hear that familiar *ding* that means there's an alert on the screen or he touched something wrong. One time my desktop icons were all messed up. He said he barely touched anythign but all the fonts were all different sizes and the icons themselves were all over the place!! The next day I had no problems all day, he comes and within two minutes of being on it something else went wrong!! I was like okay, that's enough. You can't play anymore.
This is the opposite of our situation! FI had his laptop for about a year & a half and had no problems with it other than "bad boots" sometimes where the loadup was slow. I started using it in September after he got a new desktop, & come December, I started having TONS of issues with it.
Granted, it's an HP laptop which I've heard have lots of problems, but WHY did it all start happening when I started using it?!

Seriously. I have very few issues with my computer. And yet almost EVERY time my husband uses it, it "breaks." It freezes, it crashes, and today he broke the internet. I can't get facebook, mint.com, or americanexpress.com to load. No issues with my computer, the internet, or facebook all day. He's on it less than 5 minutes to try to pay our credit card and he tells me its broken.
Anyone else's technology hate their husband? Am I alone? I am starting to think he has some kind of anti-mac forcefield that just crashes the system every time he gets too close.
