Weddingbee boards

I can't believe I did this, I have to get it out so thanks in advance for listening (or reading). One of DH's best friends, let's call him S, someone I have grown very fond of over the years, recently got back together with his ex-fiance, let's call her T, and they've been doing pretty good. A little background: I met S literally the DAY after T left him and he was a broken man. It took about 2 years of healing, which DH and I had a big part in, for him to get his life back together and move on.

So after getting a new apartment in NYC on his own, establishing a whole new group of friends (since he moved out here for T) and finally feeling happy again, T ended up coming back into his life and they have now moved back in together. They seem really happy and that isn't the issue.

The issue is that I've barely gotten to know her and adjust to the new situation. So when we were all out together a few weekends ago and a flirty tipsy girl came up and started trying to dance with a married guy in our group, I pushed her towards S. Not even realizing or thinking it was a bad idea, because he's actually in a relationship.

I can't believe I was that girl. I didn't even realize it until later on in the night and I felt so horrible. I know T isn't mad at me, it was honestly just a quick gesture, but gosh I know I'd be pissed if someone did that to DH and I when we were dating.
