I’m originally starting this post to help out a fellow bee with decisions on her ring. Okay ReganLove Keep in mind that this is what my ring started out as.
(Sorry i’m new I have no idea how to make these pictures smaller. That was not my fiances fault as I did custom deesign this ring with him! Here’s a picture of the underside
Great..So I tried to pretend like I really loved the way it turned out for a while but he knew all along that I wasn’t happy with it. So I did my research and came across the Tiffanys soleste which is what my ring is based off of. I obviously fell in love an knew that that’s how I needed to have my ring reset. So off to the jeweler again. I asked her to reset my ring based off of this picture.
We made a few modifications but as soon as she told me she could do it I was in. The resetting ended up costing around $1700 but it was totally worth it as my fiance already paid around $7000 for a ring I didn’t even like. This is my new ring that I can wear very proudly!
I honestly cannot even believe that it’s the same ring. She said she didn’t have to add any diamonds or anything! I hope I helped and if you have any other questions please let me know.

Wow, that’s a great price for that setting! GORGEOUS! Is it gold or platinum? Can I ask where you got it done?

@meant2B: Thank you!
@Bazingau: To be fair my fiance had already bought the other ring so the 1700 was just to reset everything (he bought the original ring for around $6,000. It’s white gold and she did have to use extra white gold for the new setting but she just reused everything else from the old ring-no extra diamonds. We bought it from Finch’s in Lancaster, PA www.finchjewelers.com. My fiance knows the owners personally so that probably helped with our pricing for everything as well. They are super nice and really worked with us. I had changed my mind after she made a molding and she made several moldings to make sure it was exactly what I wanted (even though I ended up changing my mind again). Here’s a picture with the custom wedding band with it.

Oh no. And I’m saying that because I was finally happy with NOT putting a double halo on my ring, but then I saw this… back to the drawing board.

Wow. Thank you so much for helping a fellow Bee out!!!! Your ring is truly stunning and I can’t wait for mine!!!! It’s so funny that yours is based off that Tiffany soleste picture, because yesterday I emailed our jeweler the SAME exact pic and said this is what I want!!! Lol. I am excited to see how it all comes out. The pictures of your ring really do seal the deal for me! 🙂 It’s also awesome to know how much finger coverage you can get with a double halo….woo!!!

@ReganLove: I’m so excited for you! It truly does give you amazing finger coverage-I can’t believe it’s the same total diamond weight as my other ring. And I cannot believe how much it shines. Make sure you post pictures when you get it!
