hahaha! that's so funny. i can't imagine my dad ever watching any of those shows, but i love that your Dad has! Tell him he wins the cool dad of the day award!
I couldnt imagine my dad watching a show like that either- but now he does...on his own! I actually ordered my dress from the store that show is filmed so he first watched to see where we were. Now he watches every Friday! Haa

That show drives me crazy for the same reason it drives your dad crazy. The salespeople get upset if people's budget are $3,000! That is crazy! And these brides beg their parents to buy $6,000 - $10,000 dresses! At least now you know how to reason with him sometimes!
Your dad is awesome! I love that he watched it on his own! My dad wouldn't believe that a dress could cost $10,000...he would be stunned beyond belief!

say yes is on TLC. makes me wanna live in NYC just to go and look. :) the store ( Kiienfields) really has a great website-- print some off to show the store YOU want to go to .

I was talking to my dad last night and he told me that if he ever tells me I am being unreasonable about the wedding, I should make him watch Say Yes to the Dress, so he can remember how easygoing I really am! Apparently, he watched two episodes (I am shocked that he watched this on his own, my mom was sleeping on the couch whil he did) and was blown over by the cost of the dresses and the snooty behavoir of certain salespeople and the whining of certain brides. I told him next time he should watch Bridezillas! Did your dads surprise you by watching any wedding shows?
