Gorgeous dress! They are very similar!  I think it would look great with a darker sash, like the Jim Hjelm one!

I love the sash! I think the bolero would be nice too, but I probably wouldn’t want to wear it the whole time. The dress is absolutely beautiful!

Isn’t it great how designers do that? So many ideas are copied from a more expensive designer. (My friend’s a fashion designer and the first thing she was asked to do in her first job was to pull apart and copy more expensive clothes, altering them just slightly so they wouldn’t get in trouble for a breach of copyright!) I’ve noticed David’s Bridal do that with quite a few designers.

Your suggestions sound beautiful. The only suggestion I would have is that if you’re fine featured or petite you might be overwhelmed by too much lace if you have both a lace bolero and a mantilla. If you can try them on (even with another dress – pretend you haven’t bought yours yet!) you’ll get a better idea of what works well together. And try to match the lace in the mantilla to the bolero, otherwise it might clash.

Your dress if beautiful!!!!! I love the idea of a mantilla but agree you’d have to try it with the bolero to make sure the two don’t clash. Love the sash! I have a DB dress also and am wearing an ivory sash for the ceremony and a red one (same as the BMs dresses) for the reception to change it up a bit!

I agree that it should be the bolero OR mantilla veil.  Maybe you can add the sash for the reception?

I really love the sash idea..maybe ivory or lace sash and mantilla veil during the ceremony, and darker sash with bolero for reception.. you’ll have a whole new look w/out having to actually buy 2 dresses!

If you have a tiny waist, I would add a sash to bring more definition to it. I am a huge fan of lace. My gown is lacey and I will be wearing a mantilla veil and lace bolero, so in my opinion, I think that if you want to wear all that lace, then do. I will probably be wearing my veil closer to the back of my head, so the lacce isn’t on top of itself, but I don’t know yet because I haven’t been able to try them all on together. I think the previous suggestion to do that is a good one. Then you will know for sure.
