- Wedding: May 2015 - Antique Rose Emporium
Well bees, it happened and evertime I think of last night I start crying again. I have never felt more special and loved than he made me feel last night.
He told me he got called into work at 5pm and I was really upset, so my friend had me come to dinner with him instead. I got ready and when I got in his truck, he blindfolded me and I knew it was happening!!! I asked about a million questions…and when we got out of the truck, I was led down a path where I heard music start to play. Immediately I knew it was ‘I See the Light’ from Disney’s Tangled, and I started crying. My (now fiance!!) hugged me and took off the blindfold where he was waiting on one knee, surrounded by BEAUTIFUL papier-mache lanterns strung in the trees. He asked me to marry him and I laughed and smiled and of course said yes! It was more perfect than I ever could’ve imagined. All of our friends helped out. I am so blessed. Congratulations!!! This may sounds crazy but the picture of you both sat in the the lantern circle, looking at the camera, would be awesome for STDs, if you’re going to send them out 🙂
