@SherryBlossom78:  Love the flowers and colors….the broaches are a bit much though. Kinda overwhelms the flowers. Maybe take the broaches and incorporate in the stem section?

The bouquet looks to be about the right size. Its about the same size that I made:

What kind of suggestions are you looking for?

Here are some tips I cuold think of quickly:

The green hydrangea kind of sticks out and from the douns of it, is not in your color scheme. See if you can find another hydrange in your color pallete to go there.

Try not to put similar brooches right next to each other. For instance, I see you have two cross brooches. Try having those on either side of the bouquet instead of together. It is more visually appealing that way. I had several sets of brooches and placed them like that, and most people couldn’t tell that I had two of the same kind anywhere.

Speaking of two of a kind, I used a lot of clip on earing in with my brooches. They are usually less expensive and help fill in delicate gaps so your bouquet looks more romantic and less like a hodge-podge of metal overlaping each other.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions I can help with. Also, I remember a bee doing a flower/brooch bouquet with a smilar color scheme to yours. I’ll see if I can find it to give you some inspiration.

@SherryBlossom78:  Glad I could help! I didn’t really have a specific plan on the clip on earring. I just kind of wired them like the brooches. I had mutliple kinds of backs on the ones I found too.

@Allyg:  They were fake hydrangeas. I got them from Hobby Lobby. I still have my beautiful bouquet over a year later. I don’t think I’ll ever disasemble it. As for how I wired my brooches, I just kind of winged it. I mostly followed this tutorial:

http://www.fancypantsweddings.com/how-to-design-a-brooch-bouquet/

But a lot of them, I twisted the wires in a spiral arounf the pin part of the brooch. I don’t know if it added any stability or not, but it worked in my head. lol. Then I floral taped each stem, and worked on it off and on while watching tv for a few weeks. I think once I got everything wired, I rearranged the brooches with the flowers about 3 times until I felt that I had gotten it right. Then I taped up everything, wrapped it all up with some bridal satin and E-600 glue, and made the ruffle cover for the bottom, which I also attached with E-600 glue.
