I was astonished at the cost of card boxes. (A paperboard fold-up box for $20?! No thanks. And nicer ones were outrageous!)
Here’s my DIY cardbox. We’re having a casual beachy wedding, so I thought the basket was fitting.
Basket: $4 (originally $7.99, 1/2 off sale at Hobby Lobby)
Letters: $1 each x 5 letters = $5
Clear string: $1.50
Spray paint: already had in my garage
I may add a silk orchid flower in the upper left-hand corner, haven’t decided yet.
And after the wedding I plan to remove the letters and keep the basket to use as decorative storage in our house!
