After getting ridiculous quotes from a few local florists, I decided to do my own centerpieces. I purchased square 20” tall vases on craigslist ($6.00 ea). I filled the bottle with river-rock then will be putting about 6 calla lilies and curly willow inside the vases.
This trial centerpiece has fake calla lilies from hobby lobby, but my actual centerpieces will have real calla lilies. I found them on Sam’s Club for a great price, $55 for 35 of them. Here is a link:
A florist quoted me $15 for ONE Calla Lilly, I could not believe it!
Each centerpiece will end up being under $20, plus I plan to resell everything (except the flowers of course) to make some of my money back.
What do you think? I am going for a simple modern look- feel free to post suggestions.

I think you need more beads or something to make the stems stay in place. they just kinda look ramdon.

I think you have done a great job. What a great buy on the vases!
Can you make the curly willow spread out a bit more?
If you want to have some different looks, or maybe arrangements for the bar, the escort or gift table, or the restroom you could do some like this:

@JanuraryGirl80: I know what you mean- it was very difficult to get everything to stay in place. I will try to add a little more rocks to the bottom and see if that helps. I am hoping that the real calla lily stems will be a little thicker so they stay in place better.
@julies1949: Thanks for the suggestion, I love the last picture that you posted.

Looks good. I’d add more rocks and spread the sticks out a bit more.

its lovely… the flowers look quite realistic.. have you considered real touch flowers? they would be cheaper than natural flowers but look and feel natural

The ones in the pictures are real touch calla lilies. I contiplated using them for all the centerpieces, but decided to go with real flowers. You just can’t beat real.
