@lightmist:  KUDOS. Great job! While I’m sure the whole thing is not insanely difficult I think it requires A LOT of patience. Do I have patience? Patience to glue yes, sew little beads no. lol. I’m going to try and recreate something similar to the pic below. Did you get your swarovski crystals on line?

That is SO cool, I was thinking of doing something like that for my head too, but I really didnt want to spend any more time on DIY for my wedding. Congrats, you should be so proud of yourself for that WAY awesome piece

WOW!  Some DIY beading is on my list too; mostly for a sash.  I have never done this before, but I think I am crafty and patient.  I checked out a few sites online and will be ordering just a few beads to see how they look before purchasing a lot.  Not sure how many beads typically cost but the ones I was looking at were 10 cents.  They have a huge variety!
