My invitations began arriving in our guests' mailboxes today. They were a labor of love! But I wouldn't do it any differently. We had so much fun putting them together with the whole family! What do you think of them?

(I can't believe I don't have pictures of the outside of them...the outside is beautiful!)

Oh and there is supposed to be an RSVP card slid in front of the "We look forward..." card. Man, I slacked with the photography.

Thanks! The swirly design is actually two stamps, stamped on top of eachother, put together by a very patient older sister of mine. Oh and it's embossed too. I love that raised feeling...

    How lovely!

This may be a silly question, but did you design & print the worded invitation yourself? It's so gorgeous... it looks like something off of WPD!

Aww...thanks! We designed the wording part ourselves (literally in Microsoft Word) and took it to our local printer and had him print it on the paper and cut it to the right size. Then we stamped that paper as described above. Then we double-sided-taped it to the gold paper (from PaperSource) and then double-sided-taped it to the red paper. Lots of double-sided-tape was used in the making of these invitations!

Haha - I am FAR from talented! But my family is! I don't have the tutorial on my blog yet, but it will be coming soon! (I want to make sure everyone receives them before I reveal too much on there)

    They look amazing!

I just spent a little while lining some envelopes and I know what you mean by labor of love, it's something few people will even notice but it makes me feel so great and personal about the invites...

    Those look so great!

Hhahaaa, everyone look what her dad wrote:

From what I can figure, these things are some kind of a pop-up origami full scale replica of the Eiffel tower with paper mache doves circling overhead, and somewhere in all of this is something called a "Belly Band."

    O.O!

    I think I'm in love! =D

This is TOTALLY going into my invitation inspiration (I hope you don't mind!). I'm in LOVE with the folded invitation, and I was looking for a way to incorporate a photograph of my fiance and I.... =) Many, many MANY thanks!
