@tasiyou15: I would test it out; you’d have to get a very thin layer of modpodge on the lace with a foam brush & press it down onto the cardstock with a brayer. The problem with doublesided tape is that I can’t see it laying flat enough. Any edges left unstuck will float around & pull the lace off the card.

I did this with my invitation using glue dots. Mine were then wrapped with baker’s twine, so that probably helped with holding it together, but the glue dots worked great. Modge Podge I imagine would be a bit of a nightmare.
