After many many hours of letterpress printing, I am DONE! I was able to print my invites, RSVPs, direction cards, thank you cards, menu cards, program covers, and little cards for my guest book. And I was able to get my 2 dogs to pose for the custom stamp!!!

    Hope the link works.

how did you diy letterpress? I figured you have to some a fancy machine and a class and stuff - which, perhaps, you did... But if you didn't then I'd love to know how you diy letterpress!

I took a letterpress class when I was in college. I emailed the instructor and she suggested me to take a weekend refresher course and buy the lab hours. So I guess in a way I am renting the letterpress machine :)

I designed the invites in Illustrator and have photopolymer plates made.

Oh yeah, we are having casino games after the reception, in case you guys are wondering why I'm doing the heart, spade, club and diamond.

I love it - where did you get the wish cards? I would love to get some of those myself!

PS - Best stamp award - goes to you - love the envelope in the dog mouth - you are too creative!

You are my new hero! What an amazing job you did. I considered DIY invites but instead decided to keep my sanity! I might have to "borrow" that stamp idea though - that I can manage.

Thanks guys! I had to bribe Speedy with lots and lots of play time to take that picture :)

Sweeney2Be: I letterpressed the wish cards myself, big wood types with a tiny tiny dot of chocolate ink and lots of varnish and then letterpressed the pink heart.

It's kind of different, but I got the inspiration from here:
