Sorry- my post got cut off! Here is one with pink silk flowers in the base..
I'm not crazy about the silk flowers, but I can't think of an alternative!
What can I add (preferably to the base) to the centerpieces to give a pop of pink? Thank you!
Maybe put the whole thing on a reflective (mirror) base then scatter some pink "gemstones" on top of it, around the base of the pot. Def keep the pink flowers or something on the inside of the pot. And perhaps just a few pink crystals hanging?
hmm.. maybe tie a pink bow around the base of the tree, under the last branch? But then again I noticed some of the bases are closer to the pot than others, not leaving much room. Maybe some kind of light weigh fabric bunched around the base... I'm not very creative but I love the trees!
I was wanting to do that same idea actually, I've been searching for days on how to make them. I looked around on the website you mentioned but I couldn't decide.
Which branhes did you order?
@Bellagiobride: LOVE the gemstones idea!
@Swiss Miss to Bee: That sounds pretty..good thought for the pink hanging crystals.
@Kealy: Thank you! I ordered the Natural Red Manzanita Branches 18"-24". Just be sure you go over them before you spray paint and peel off all of the loose bark!
Hi Girlie! You could add a ribbon to the top of the pots with or without a bow for color OR add little pink accent flowers to the branches. I'm adding little white ones with rhinestone centers to my wish tree. Even if you only find white flowers you like, you could dye them to match...fyi. :)
I say to use pink gemstones in the vase as previously mentioned and maybe wrap some tiny pink rice lights around the branches

I will be doing the same type centerpieces (which I have not yet started)...and for the ceremony I made these 6' trees (really similar to your centerpieces!!). For the pictures I just 'threw' some clear lights on to get the effect...I will probably use twice as many lights for the wedding. But I will definately be using clear crystals at the base of the vase.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I ended up going with the colored gemstones..I love how they catch the light.

I only had teal stones on hand, but they will be hot pink!
Thanks again
@misskittykakes: I love the tall trees..definitely a potential ceremony addition. Where'd you get the trees?
@miss bloom: I love the way it looks with the stones! I actually really like the teal with the silver tree, but I'm sure pink will look fabulous. :)
@miss bloom: I live in northern california so we just drove up the freeway about 30 miles and cut some off my grandparents property (found out after the fact that you are not supposed to cut down manzanita in calif...ooops). I stripped the leaves off, planted the tree in cement and then spray painted everything metallic silver. I love the addition of the gems to your centerpieces!!
Thanks everyone! I am pleased with the way they came out, and thanks for the suggestions.
@misskittykakes: Wow that's so neat! Not to mention a $ saver lol.

I ordered branches from Blooms and Branches and made 10 manzanita centerpieces (and 1 family tree to put on the guestbook table!). Our colors are silver and pink so I'm trying to think of how to incorporate pink in them.
Without pink ^
