Ooooh Pretty! Very nicely done. I love it!
I love it. The best part is the placement of the date. It's not front and center but it is still there...provides a nice balance to the swirls being mainly on the left. Nicely done!
I love it!! I kind of like the one with just the last initial, but both look amazing!
I like! I like! Yes, please share where you got the flourishes from! Was it free!? Btw, both are nice, but I like the 2nd one!
Please share where you got the flourish. I like the second one as well. Maybe add a small M&M on either side if you really wanted to?
you should use both. The M&M for before you are married (invitations and ceremony programs) and the E for the reception. I am assuming that E is the new married name last initial and both of your names start with an M. And I agree with Sand Dollar - I love the placement of the date! I think I like the M&M best because I love the way the curves of the & symbol mimic the curves in the flourish design.
Thank you! I think I might use both like Jacqi said, great idea :). I just googled black swirl, and black flourish and I got a bunch of different designs. I can post just the swirl if anyone wants that, I dont mind sharing! I bought two other flourishes that match the design for my invites and response cards & I don't mind posting those.
I'll just post a few that I found that I liked for anyone to take if they want to.
How do you uses these images if you don't want a white background? AKA when I go to print my monogram on say my thank you notes, if I want the note brown and the monogram green, how to make that work. Advice would be greatly appreciated!
I love it but I don't get it- do you just copy and paste them over eachother and spin them around a bit till you have what you want?
If you use MS powerpoint it is a little easier. Just spin the picture to however you want it. I used word art to shape the words & letters. Then, I selected all the objects and then grouped then together to make them stay in place.
Okay, here's my final ones. I'm using the monogram with the date for the cocktail napkins, and my gobo at my reception. The plain one is only getting used on my map with my invites.
I also wanted to show an example of it in the wedding map i'm making, it looks really empty because I deleted most of it, but you get the idea.
Just to show how I'm using it...
What particular site did you get this from? I've tried to google it. I can't make any changes to the one that you posted. Thanks!
I googled a bunch of them under black swirl, and black flourish. I went through a bunch of pages though, probably like 40. Check out weddingdna.com, they have tons of stuff. They also give you a free trial for a week and they'll give you 2 free things off of the website while you're on the trial...

I made this monogram in MS Word with a flourish I found online. What do you girls think of it?
