Now that the wedding’s over I can share a few of my DIYs with you.
Shoes purchased at DSW, the bling were pins from Michael’s
Wire and pearl cake topper. Not sure what I’ll do with it now, but it was pretty & fun to make.Flower bouquet for decoration, and faux mercury glass vase using spray paint.
My bouquet. In all, I made 2 bouquets, 2 boutonierres, 2 corsages, and a centerpiece, then used leftover baby’s breath for 2 more centerpieces, all for under $35.

Not really, it was just something I played around with. Using aluminum wire from the jewelry making section, I formed the heart shape with about 12″ leftover at the bottom, which I made a spiral as the base. Then took another piece of wire and made random spirals, which I then fitted inside the heart and wired to the edges. Some of the spirals need to be wired together too; it isn’t as stable as I’d have liked. Finally, I took a strand of pearl beads and wired to the edge of the heart. Overall I thought it turned out pretty well.
