My DIY Save the Date : wedding std SavetheDate Side1 BI created my own save the date in Photoshop/InDesign and would like to get some opinions. Is it too busy? It's going to be a postcard (yay for free Vistaprint postcards!) with our wedding website on the back side and put in an envelope.

    Thanks in advance!

I couldn't see a picture- what is helpful is going in and hitting "edit" and then clicking the tree icon to put in photos- it resizes it a lot easier/simpler.

Also: I used www.mypostcardprinter.com for my post-card Save the Dates and was very happy with the quality and turn around time. :)

I can see the picture.  I like it, but I had a hard time reading the text on your timeline.  The idea is super cute, but will it be readable on a postcard?  Maybe try to simplify the timeline events so that you can use a larger font?

I kind of agree with Mighty... cute idea, but I'd say make the font more readable for the small boxes of text along the timeline! A modern block font or very neat handwriting (not script) font would fit in with your look!

I like it... Cute idea and great colors :)  Will the font be readable post-card sized? It probably will be. And hooray for VP, my save the dates will be from them too!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm going to try using a different font for the timeline.

Yeah that is super cute!! Love the idea & layout.  I agree that maybe font in timeline should be bigger or different, even taking out some words to accomodate that so it's more readable.  Awesome job!

I really like the idea, but as the other bees have said it's a bit busy/hard to read. So an edit of the font type or size would be helpful.

    Lovely idea!!
