    I made these last night on my computer.  I don't have any fancy programs like photoshop which is what everyone seemed to suggest!

    I found a Kodak 4x6 template online and opened it in the Paint program.  From there, I added in the background and the photos of us as well as the coral band.

    Then I saved it as .jpg and opened it in Picnik, a free online photo editing site. I added the words on there.

    So I'm going to print out a test run soon and hope they come out alright...if it works they will cost about 10 cents each...only the cost of printing a photo!

    *fingers crossed*

    @MademoiselleL: those look really good, have you considered using vista print? I have a bunch of free coupons in my e-mail inbox (they never go back despite what they say) and you can upload your own design (which I also have a free coupon for) I'll totally forward you the freebie email if you decide you want to go that route =D

    If you're not going to use it yourself I'll check it out!  I'll pm you my email.

    @MademoiselleL: anyone can use it multiple times haha. It's just a link you click on and it adds it to the cart, anyone else who's interested is more than welcome to let me know =) Also: I ordered the STD's 2 days ago, they just shipped and supposedly will be here in 3 days.  Pretty snappy!!

    Too Cute!  We are using Vista Print for our STD Magnets- I've heard only good reviews from them.

    I really love these.  Would you mind telling me about the kodak template you used?  I am not a qhiz either, but need to make something to send out to people as well.

    If you're considering vistaprint, I've heard on the etsy forums (I am a seller there) that other sellers have had unauthorized charges on their credit cards from vistaprint. There are a lot of bad reviews of vistaprint. But I hear good things here.

    @Kewii:  Here's the template I used...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kodak_Picture_Kiosk_4x6_Template.jpg

    And I also updated my std for anyone else who sees the thread :)  I changed the fonts and the pics to be clearer and in colour!

    I've also decided not to do Vistaprint since it will be cheaper to just print these out as 4x6 photos from Costco (10 cents each) than to pay for Vistaprint shipping !

    I've used Vistaprint for business cards with good results. Just read everything VERY thoroughly before you check out to unclick any added options that cost more money.

    Those are awesome! I've been looking for DIY options that don't require programs I don't have, and this might be just the ticket! Thanks so much for sharing!
