looks great!
and... guess what i was doing tonight?? DIY hankie packets! i actually used glassine envelopes, plus vintage cloth hankies -- with tons of cool old flower prints on 'em -- that i got off ebay. If i had my camera here, i'd show mine, too. (mine are stamped, "open in case of tears.")
Oh look how cute! You did an EXCELLENT job on those! Wow! I'll need 10 just for myself- I'm such a crier.
Oh those turned out fabulous! I ALWAYS cry at weddings so I would appreciate these being available. I always end up using my sleeve *SNORT*
Those are so cute!! a really cute idea :)
Oh my goodness I love them. I might have to add another DIY project but I must do it soon, one week from today I will be a married woman.
Thanks bees for the wonderful comments! I'm such a crier too...I'll probably have to stuff a couple in my dress (I wish my dress had pockets..haha).
sleepylittlesailor: Please post pictures of yours, I'd love to see it. It sounds like a really nice idea, I like the vintage concept of yours.
Ireland: I made about 60 of them and they didn't take long to make. My cricut did all the cutting and I just glued/taped them on. I actually did it at one of my scrapbook nights with my girlfriends, so maybe about 3 hours.
Those are awesome! I want one - great idea! Adding one more MUST to my wedding to-do-DIY list. Hehe.
Really cute! I'd love to receive one of those at a wedding!
Such a cute idea to include tissues in the wedding. It's often overlooked, but I know the guests will love that you thought of such a little (yet important) detail.
very cute! I loved when Mrs. Spring Roll introduced this idea.
Thanks LatteLove for giving Mrs. Spring Roll a shout out! I just checked hers out it was too cute! She's so creative, I love it! I'll have to peruse the rest of her blogs for other inspirations!
Also good as blotting tissue for those hot outdoor weddings in summer (probably mine too)! Love 'em!
lol that is so cute!! Great job :)
My FI loves Big Lots... we don't have any here! My final trip to the US (before immigration officially begins) I'm going to check it out for wedding goodies like that!!
oh my god!! i love this! i totally probably shouldn't be saying this on here but I am a designer and actually worked on designing these!! I LOVE this use and now wish I had more samples on hand to copy this...
These are really cute! I am thinking of putting these at the end of our programs.
I think the ones in the picture are from Mrs Candy Corn.

Hey bees just wanted to share this with ya'll. It was never on my to do list, but when I saw these packets (MS vellum confetti packets), my creative mind started doing its magic. For a pack of $20 it was only $2 (from Big Lots), so I said what the heck, it'll be a quick easy project for me. I just used my cricut (alphalicious cartridge), scrap paper I already had, and a corner and heart punch. The words "For Your Tears of Joy" was printed on clear address labels.
My plan was just to put these wrapped with the program or set in a basket at the ceremony entrance. What do you think?
