I have my professional photos back and would love to share some of my DIY details from my April with you all 🙂
I designed the orders of service just on Word and printed and assembled them with my hubby
I made my own little bunting cake topper as well just with bbq skewers and my trusty laptop!
I also made a Mr and Mrs sign to go over a fireplace in our reception venue
Our wedding favours were homemade chocolate lollipops with a quote about marriage/love/family attached…
Our tables were filled with jars we’d collected filled with flowers and cut glass candlestick holders we’d bought at car boot sales. In this photo you can also see the table signs – each table was named after a significant place for my husband and I and I made up a mock polaroid of us at that place for each table.
Hope you like! xxx

Floof: Love it! I always think it looks so much better when there are lots of personal touches at a reception! I might have to steal your fireplace sign, how did you do it if you don’t mind me asking?

LudaRae: I had lots of 14cm x 14cm cards left over from my invitations so I printed a letter onto each square just using word and then cut out the shape I wanted. I used bakers twine in purple and white and used a whole punch to punch a hole in each top corner of each letter and threaded it through. Because it’s thick the letters don’t slide to the middle as well which was quite handy! x
