I like it without the inner turquoise corner designs. To me it competes with the chevron pattern. But that’s just my opinion. Very pretty!

I could either take or leave the corner designs, but i dont love your font choices/size.  I think it should be larger or bolder.  too much white space i guess

I agree with @Roxygirli05, I’m not crazy with the font.  It seems to get lost in the design.  The one word that stands out is “to” but not in a good way (sorry).  It’s cursive nature doesn’t fit with the rest of the design, and I think it should be “and” (not “to”) given your first line. The rest of the wording could be a little larger/bolder, and spaced out more evenly across the page.

1:00pm should be One O’clock (you don’t need the pm)

You also don’t need the year since invites are mailed just a few months before the event.

With that being stated, I do like them. The modern design is solid and pleasing.  Just needs some tweaking (IMO).

@erinbacher:  the colours are great and i like the chevron background.  i do agree with pp, the corner designs compete with the background.  also, the font style is a big boring and much too small for the invite (too much white space).

I would take out the corner designs, change the font, and make the text larger. But it’s a good start!

I think this is a great start. I like the colours and the chevron. I’m not too fussy about the wording (I’m not sure why; maybe I don’t like the word cordial lol), there’s too much white space, I don’t really like the choice of fonts, and something about the layout of the date and time bothers me.

I love it as a base, but there is alot of white space there and I am not a fan of that.

@erinbacher:  Increase the font on the top and bottom, but not alot, just a little it is amazing how a incrase from 12 to 14 can change things.  Also, I really like how you did the “and” between your names, maybe use that type of design in other areas of the invitation.  I understand the frustration, I DYI my invitations and worked on them for months.
