my ribbon rehearsal bouquet, that is. I came home to find it in pieces on the living room floor and was upset and bummed out about it. I just had my shower and a very close family friend sat on the floor next to me at the shower, feverently putting it together.
Needless to say, I swore outloud at my dogs and a tear formed in my eye. I’m an older bride (1st time) and yes, even I look forward to carrying that silly ribbon bouquet during rehearsal…especially since my mom’s friend made it.
It was late, so I went to bed.
Woke up this morning, went into the bathroom, turned on the light and to my complete surprise, there was my ribbon bouquet, put together again…looking nice and pretty. But wait! There also a note. It was in chicken scratch and read:
I’m sorry. Love Boris.
And then a little hand drawn paw print.
I mean…could I start off my day any better? This is just one of the reasons why I love my FI. What a guy! So I go upstairs to the bedroom and nudge him awake to exclaim:
‘honey! Guess what? Boris knows how to do crafts!’
I thanked him profusely with kisses and finished getting ready for work.

Aw! Crisis averted. What a sweet thing to do. I’m tellin ya right now, that wouldn’t even occur to my husband! He’s sweet, but he’s also pretty clueless 🙂 I’m sure Boris is still wondering what he did that was so wrong!

Oh my gosh, that is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sweet!!!! Sorry your dog ate your bouquet, but how cute is your FI?!?!?!
Don’t worry, I have errant pets too. One of my cats ate the veil from my vintage cake topper a couple days ago. Sigh.

Haha that’s cute.
When I was getting ready to try on my dress one of my puppies repeatedly tried to lay on it so I had to explain to him that it was very important and that he needed to lay elsewhere…he totally understood. 🙂
