That's awesome! I wish I could teach my cats to fetch stuff for me.
That's so cute! My little kitty is a biter. Somehow she learned this funny trick that if she's biting and I say "Glory, what's nice?" she stops biting and starts licking me instead. I have NO idea how she figured it out, LOL! My old cat Smee (he passed away last year) taught himself how to open doors with lever handles. One time I ran out of toilet paper, and I was trying to yell to DH to grab me some out of the linen closet in our bedroom but he couldn't hear me. So I called for Smee, who opened the door, and then I could yell to DH (while laughing my butt off because it worked) who then brought me toilet paper. Our family is all about cooperation ;)
My cat rolls over on command...? hah I wish I could make him bring me things.
That's so cool! Eva our corgi has figured out that her blue squeaky bone is "toy" so now If I say "bring my your toy" she'll bring me the blue bone. Doesn't work yet with any other toys, but I'm still impressed!
@bakerella: that's the funniest story I've ever heard!!! My cat just bangs his head against the bathroom door and that's how he opens it. He likes to go when other people go. Sorry, tmi?
@menobride: Hah! That's fantastic! Well done!
@bakerella: And using a CAT for help? MOST impressive!
That's awesome! We trained my parent's lab to get the newspaper from the end of the driveway and bring it into the house. We open the door and tell her to "Get the Paper" and she runs down the driveway, picks it up, and runs back inside with it and drops it at your feet.

She brought me my slippers! I can't believe she did it on command, we didn't really even try that hard to teach her.
About two weeks ago, she brought one of my slippers out of the bedroom into the living room. She didn't chew it or play with it, just dropped it. So I told her "slipper, good girl!" And put it on. She kept doing this, and instead of yelling at her for touching them, I decided to try going with it. Every time she brought one into the living room, Id repeat what I said. So tonight, I said "go get slipper!" and she did it...twice!
I'm a proud dog Mom!
